Well done Lynda!

CVN staff know that every day is a learning day and that it’s not just our children who are constantly expanding their skills and knowledge. Sometimes we even get formal recognition for our efforts! Well done to Lynda who braved the extreme cold last weekend to complete her certificate in Outdoor First Aid with the First Aid Training Cooperative

Christmas Party Day!

Our children and staff had an amazing Christmas party today with the Oasis group. Everyone enjoyed crafting a Christmas tree before tucking into some ice cream and jelly. Of course it wouldn’t be a Christmas party without some presents and our children exchanged gifts with the Oasis members – it was such a joy to see so many smiling faces.
Thank you to everyone who came along and really got into the Christmas spirit with our wee ones 🥰

A big thanks too to our fantastic staff team and who always rise to the occasion, to our lovely caretaker Lesley for accommodating us and also a big thank you to the community fund who funded our party.

Banana Muffins

We received a huge bag of bananas from the Co-Op for our community larder today and decided to make some banana muffins. They are really tasty and we thought that people might like to try them and also try to make them themselves. We still have plenty of bananas left so come along to the community centre and help yourself to some and also pick up a little bag with a muffin and a recipe in it 🍌

Soup Share

We had a very busy final soup share of the 2021/2022 session yesterday. Thank you to everyone who came along to share some soup, bread, cakes and, most importantly, chat. It was lovely to see you and we look forward to welcoming you back when we return after the summer holidays.
