Cambusbarron Community Development Trust held a successful defibrillator training awareness day today. The village will soon have a public access defibrillator situated outside the community centre. Chairperson Richard Norman said “We are indebted to Trossachs Search and Rescue Services for their advice and support prior to and on the day. Brian Devlin and Dr Jan Chesham delivered a clear and concise session and demonstrated that a defibrillator is easy to use. If any local group would like some further training, they would be happy to assist. Email firstname.lastname@example.org The defibrillator was purchased from funds from the old social club and Stirling Electrical Services has generously agreed to fit it”.
Thank you to members of the Cambusbarron Development Trust, The Community Centre and the user groups particularly Cambusbarron Village Nursery and Rock and ‘Reel’ for pulling everything together.
The Defibrillator will be maintained by Trossachs Search and Rescue. Their list of Public Access Defibrillators can be found at https://www.trossachsdefibrillator.co.uk
