The deadline for families to apply for the Best Start Grant School Age Payment is 28 February 2021. This one-off £250 payment is currently open to eligible families with a child born between 1 March 2015 and 29 February 2016. It can be used for anything from a warm coat to books and toys.

You may be aware that the First Minister has now confirmed that early years services will be able to reopen for all children from Monday Monday February 22nd. Following a meeting with Stirling Council this morning I am happy to confirm that Cambusbarron Village Nursery will therefore re-open on Monday in line with these plans.
Please be aware that we remain under strict guidance which aims to minimise the risk of infection spread and that our additional hygiene measures and precautions will remain in place. In particular please ensure that:

We are still accepting applications for session 2021/2022 however spaces are very limited so please return as soon as possible. Completed forms should be emailed to admin@CambusbarronVillageNursery.com. We do not recommend posting forms because of the situation with the current Covid-19 pandemic however, if necessary, forms can be posted to us at Cambusbarron Community Centre, St Ninian’s Road, Cambusbarron, FK7 9NU. In line with the latest Scottish Government advice to Stay at Home we will be reinstating and adding to our set of parental resources for use until we are again able to return to a more normal nursery routine. We will continue to keep you updated with resources and information as we come across them.

Cambusbarron Village Nursery is now closed for the festive break. We wish everyone a joy filled though potentially different Christmas and we hope for a better 2021 for everyone.
